14 October – Human Rights in Indonesia with Alghiffari Aqsa

On 14 October at 11:30am, Victoria University College of Law and Justice will presents Mr Alghiffari Aqsa in a lecture on the state human rights in Indonesia.

Members and friends of ICJ Victoria are invited to attend this lecture.

Those attending will have the opportunity to meet Mr Aqsa following his talk.

Mr Alghiffari Aqsa


Mr Aqsa is a human rights lawyer involved in public interest litigation and advocacy in relation to housing rights, labour rights, and other human rights issues in Indonesia.  He is a director of the Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (Lembaga Bantuan Hukum), and a member of Southeast Asian Lawyers Network, a group of public interest lawyers in Southeast Asia.

Mr Aqsa will discuss his work in addressing the most pressing human rights issues in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
