ICJ Victoria are pleased to announce the Community Opening of the Legal Year will be held on 5 February 2018. Our guest speakers will be the Head Judge of the Koori Court, Judge Paul Grant, and Lidia Thorpe MP.
Other highlights will be an acoustic performance from Kutcha Edwards, spoken word poetry from VMC Youth Commissioner Sukjhit Kaur Khalsa, speeches by students from the Skyline Education Foundation, the presentation of the John Gibson Human Rights Award, and music from BottledSnail Productions.
A light morning tea will be supplied by the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
