The Human Rights Arts and Film Festival (HRAFF) will be taking place in Melbourne between the 4th and 18th of May. HRAFF is an organisation that explores human rights issues through film, art, and music. This year, the Festival will explore: disputes over land occupation in the West Bank, the legalisation of same-sex marriage in the United States, and the human cost of the Syrian Civil War.
The Festival will hold a Gala Film Screening and Cocktail Party on Thursday the 10th of May at St Kilda Town Hall. The evening will comprise of a Silent Auction, the screening of several short films, and an address by Professor Gillian Triggs, President of the Human Rights Commission.
